Our commitment

At SoftWiz we consider it important to provide an equal service to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We work to keep this site available, usable and clear for as many people as possible, on any browsing device.

This statement is issued under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 5773-2013.

Level of accessibility

This site was built in line with Israeli Standard 5568 and with WCAG 2.0 level AA, including semantic structure, full keyboard navigation, visible focus, alt text and measured contrast ratios.

As of the date of this statement, an external accessibility audit has not yet been completed. One is planned, and this statement will be updated to reflect its findings.

Adjustments made on this site

  • Correct semantic structure: navigation landmarks, main content and a consistent heading hierarchy
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly marked focus state on every interactive element
  • A “skip to main content” link at the start of every page
  • Alt text on all non-decorative images
  • Support for the operating-system setting to reduce motion (prefers-reduced-motion)
  • Forms with associated labels and status messages announced to screen readers
  • Full right-to-left support, including in the English version of the site
  • Adapts to different screen sizes, including text enlargement to 200% without loss of content
  • Colour contrast meeting level AA at every text size in use
  • No flashing or auto-moving content that could trigger a seizure

Browsers and assistive technology

The site is tested and supported on current versions of the common browsers, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and in combination with mainstream screen readers.

On older browsers, or versions no longer supported by their makers, some adjustments may not work correctly. We recommend updating to a current version.

The accessibility panel

An accessibility panel is available on every page, opened via the button marked with the accessibility symbol in the corner of the screen. It offers:

  • Text enlargement at three levels
  • High contrast mode
  • Link highlighting for quicker identification
  • A readable typeface that helps users with dyslexia
  • Stop animations across the site
  • Enlarged mouse cursor
  • Reset of all settings

The panel is itself accessible to keyboard navigation and screen readers, and your preferences are stored in your own browser between pages. It is built and maintained by us rather than supplied by a third party, so using it involves no transfer of data to anyone else.

Worth knowing: the panel is an aid only. The substantive accessibility of this site comes from how it is built, not from the panel.

Accessibility at our office

Most of what SoftWiz.io does takes place online and at clients’ own premises. Meetings held at our office at 94 Yigal Alon St, Tel Aviv, or anywhere else, are arranged in advance, and we are glad to make adjustments on prior request.

Known limitations

We continue to improve the site’s accessibility, and even so some parts may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Third-party content or components embedded in the site, which are not entirely under our control
  • External documents or files linked from the site
  • Older content carried over from the previous site and not yet fully reviewed
